Welcome to Colorado Springs Portrait, I am Carrie Cleghorn.

I am an award winning photographer (local, state and national) who just loves photography! Unlike most photographers, I didn't start when I was a kid. I started back in 2009 when living in the breathtakingly beautiful island of Okinawa. Borrowed my friend's "real" camera to document my oldest daughter's first day in kindergarten while her Dad was deployed to Afghanistan and haven't looked back since.

I am a member of the Professional Photographers Guild of Colorado Springs, Professional Photographers of Colorado and Professional Photographers of America. I currently volunteer for all three organizations as well. I have been a Certified Professional Photographer since 2019, earning this distinction through a written test and image submission through the Professional Photographers of America.
